ZOOM Level 1 Coaching Certification Course

WAKO Canada has hosted a number of highly successful ZOOM Coaching Courses in the past few years. The WAKO Canada Certification Program is an amazing Seminar open to all Coaches, Instructors, Athletes, Parents and any supporters for the sport!
The Level I Course is also a requirement for all corner-persons at any of our sanctioned competitions. There are a number of club shows as well as our 2023 Provincial Open, 2024 Western Canadian Open and the 2024 Nationals upcoming in which all corner-persons must be certified as coaches.
The Course is a Professional Development and Certification program in which participants learn and review current research and methodology of:
Sports Injury Management
Athlete Planning
Strategies for Coaching Excellence
Sport Ethics and Legalities
As well as the Rules and Regulations for WAKO Canada and WAKO International.
All Coaches receive a Coaching Manual, all Resource Material and a WAKO Canada Certificate upon successful completion of the Course!
With WAKO having been accepted into the IOC (International Olympic Committee) the future for our sport is even brighter!
