WAKO Canada is proud to be working with TRIUMPH MMA & FITNESS in Fort St. John, BC to host another British Columbia WAKO Coaching Certification Course! WAKO BC continues to develop as an association across BC. There are plans to host Coaching Certification Course, Kickboxing Seminars and future Shows and Tournaments over the next few years.
The newly elected Board of Directors are working hard to get PSO Recognition for WAKO BC so that our athletes, coaches and all clubs can benefit from support from VIA Sport and Ministry of Sport in BC.
Certifying Coaches is one of first steps in this process!
The WAKO Canada Certification Program is an amazing Seminar open to all Coaches, Instructors, Athletes, Parents and any supporters for the sport! The Course is a Professional Development and Certification program in which participants learn and review current research and methodology of:
Sports Injury Management
Athlete Planning
Strategies for Coaching Excellence
Sport Ethics and Legalities
As well as the Rules and Regulations for WAKO Canada and WAKO International.
All Coaches receive a Coaching Manual, all Resource Material and a WAKO Canada Certificate upon successful completion of the Course!
With WAKO having been accepted into the IOC (International Olympic Committee) the future for our sport is even brighter!
