Team Canada Selection Camp

WAKO Canada is excited to announce the 1st Team Canada opportunity for 2019!  We will selecting 5 Senior Athletes to travel to Iowa for a Team Event with the WAKO USA National Team.  This event will be televised and the travel and accommodations for the athletes will be sponsored by WAKO Canada.  This is an amazing opportunity for athlete exposure and a first International Team event for 2019!

The following athletes are being selected:

Male – 125 lbs, 140 lbs, 200 +

Female – 112 lbs, 143 lbs

The requirements for all athletes are as follows:

1. Clubs must be registered members of WAKO Canada for 2019
2. Athletes must be registered members of WAKO Canada for 2019 with a Valid WAKO Canada Passport
3. Athletes must have a valid Canadian Passport
4. Athletes must be able to travel to Buffalo for the flight

All athletes will be selected at the Saturday December 15th training camp.  Camp Registration forms are available below:

REGISTRATION FORM

Registration forms are due on noon Monday December 10th.  Athletes from outside of the province wishing to try out for the team should complete the Registration form and submit by the December 10th deadline.  Athletes will be notified about selection protocols for out of Province athletes.
