Markham Level 1 Coaching Course

WAKO Canada and Elevation Martial Arts and Training Center are hosting a Level 1 Coaching Course for the GTA on Sunday January 13th. The Coaching Course is a great Professional Development course designed for instructors, coaches, athletes, parents and also anyone interested in learning more about the role of the Coach.

The course provides educational modules in the following areas:

Sport Injury Management

Sport Ethics

Developing Excellence in Coaching

Athlete Planning

Sport Psychology

The course is open to all clubs.  Over 900 coaches have have participated in this course over the past 10 years making it the longest running and most attended Coach Training Course in Canada. The course is a requirement for all corner persons at WAKO approved competition and also an insurance requirement for our club membership.  This will also be one of the last course before the FROSTY FRIENDS Development Tournament and also one of only three courses before the March 2-3 Nationals.
