National Junior Team Camp: Newfoundland
Dear Clubs, WAKO Canada is hosting a training camp open to all junior aged athletes (aged 10-18). The camp is focused on ring sports and Kick Light and is open to athletes from Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick. These training camps are amazing opportunities for young athletes to gain experience working with National Team coaches and also with high performance athletes from Atlantic provinces. We are excited to announce that WAKO Canada will be bringing a select team of athletes to Fort Myers, Florida to compete in a USA vs Canada show. We are working with WAKO USA to host this event. The goal is to also prepare our athletes for future international events including the 2024 PANAM Championship in Chile in November. Dear Clubs, WAKO Canada is opening up applications for the 2024 PANAM Championship to be held in Chile in November 2024. The PANAM will feature athletes in all kickboxing disciplines for cadet, junior, intermediate, seniors and veterans. WAKO Canada has many international Ring Discipline opportunities for 2024 for our elite level athletes including - PANAM Championship (Chile) USA Kickboxing Open (Orlando) Canada vs USA Team Events (Dates TBD) To get our ring athletes ready we have organized two NT camps.
