PANAM Tryouts + NT Junior Camp

Dear Members,
WAKO Canada is excited to announce that WAKO Quebec will be hosting the tryouts for tatami divisions of the WAKO PANAM Championship to be held in Chile this coming November. The PANAMs will be the qualifiers for the WORLD GAMES to be held in China in 2025. The World Games is a fully funded IOC multisport event and is second to only the Olympic Games as a global sporting event. The divisions open for Point Sparring are the following –
Male – 63 kg; 74 kg; 84 kg
Female – 50 kg; 60 kg; 70 kg
Athletes that win those divisions at the PANAMs qualify for the World Games. Athletes trying out for these or any of the PANAM Tatami divisions must attend the training camp in Jolette. Information and registration form is below. Register early to avoid a late fee.
The camp is also a required camp for the Quebec athletes on the National Team going to the World Junior Championship in Hungary. The camp is also open to all athletes wanting to get experience and the opportunity to training with National Team athletes and coaches.
