Intercontinental Championships

WAKO Canada again sent a team to South Africa for a team event. Canada fielded a National Team of 10 athletes from our member clubs – Golden Tiger (Hanover), ROCK Athletics (St. Johns), Black Lotus (Orillia), World Championship (Peterborough), Brake MMA (Cornerbrook), and BAAC (Burlington).  The South Africans hosted our team for two competitions in Pretoria and the northern city of Thabazimbi.  The South Africans won the first team match and Canada won the second.  Most important was the many relationships built between WAKO South Africa and WAKO Canada.
