Point Sparring Officials Course
WAKO Canada will be hosting a referee and judging course for the Tatami discipline of point sparring for any official in Ontario. We encourage participants from all martial arts clubs to participate in this course to become certified with WAKO Canada. The Coaching Course is a great Professional Development course designed for instructors, coaches, athletes, parents and also anyone interested in learning more about the role of the Coach. WAKO Canada is hosting the 1st Officials Course for the Tatami Disciplines of Point Sparring, Light Contact, Forms and Weapons Forms. This WAKO Certification course was rescheduled from last year when it had to be cancelled due to the weather. WAKO Canada has done a number of Seminars in the Maritimes. All participants benefited greatly and it quickly built up the sport in Atlantic Canada. We had over 50 participants for two WAKO Canada Courses in Quebec last year. One was on Coaching and the other on Officiating. In both courses we learned a lot.
