The largest and most prestigious international event is the WAKO World Championship. The 2018 WAKO Worlds is focused on cadets, juniors and intermediates (ages 10-18). The WAKO Worlds will be held near Venice Italy from September 15-23rd. There are divisions for all Tatami disciplines (Light Contact, Kick Light, Point Sparring, Musical Forms/Weapons) and Ring disciplines (K1, Low Kick and Full Contact). WAKO Canada is excited to announce our first K1 Tournament that will be open to all competitors. WAKO Canada has teamed with Gerald Ching (MAFA) and Saji Bolo (Pound 4 Pound) to promote this exciting new WAKO tournament event.
