National Tatami Discipline Training Camp – Montreal
The National Tatami Committee has started preparations for the WAKO World Championship to be held in Abu Dhabi this coming November. There will be 6 camps held throughout QC for athletes from Ontario and Quebec that wish to try out for Team Canada in the disciplines of Point Fighting, Light Contact and Forms/Weapons. 2026 ONTARIO WINTER GAMES WAKO Canada and our Ontario PSO are excited to provide information on the 2026 Ontario Winter Games (OWG). We will be selecting 120 young people to participate in the 2026OWG that will be held in Orillia February 19th – 22nd. The Ontario Winter Games is part of the Canadian Olympic pathway and is organized by the Ministry of Sport. The Games held every 2 years and brings together the top provincial athletes from 23 different sports. …

WAKO Canada is excited to support one of our oldest and active clubs - Pound - 4 - Pound – as they host another exciting night of kickboxing action. The show will be held in Pickering. This training camp is open to all competitive athletes registered with WAKO Canada. The camp that will also be the main trials for the National Senior Team applying for the WORLD SENIOR World Championship (Abu Dhabi) as well as the main camp for Junior athletes trying out for the Junior PANAM Championship in August.
