Turkish Open

A SELECT TEAM from WAKO Canada will be attending the 2025 Turkish Open Championship. The Turkish Open is considered the largest kickboxing tournament in the world.  With over 10 ring discipline rings going simultaneously for the 5000 + athletes this is an exciting event for any calibre of competitor.

WAKO Canada President Muzammal Nawaz will be leading this SELECT Team for the Turkish Open.  The athletes will be going through the National Team Protocols at two training camps prior to the tournament plus the full NT program while in Turkey.

Details on the tournament will be provided shortly however only a small number of athletes will be selected.  If you are interested please complete the attached form and submit no later than Feb 28th.  Please note there are two mandatory training camps for the SELECT team for athletes from Ontario and Quebec – March 2 and April 27th.  For applications can be found on the WAKO Canada website.  Information will be provided for athletes outside of Ontario and Quebec.

No fees are due at this time – however please note that only 10 athletes will be selected for this team.  Apply early and final selection will be made at the March 2nd camp.  All athletes from outside of Ontario and Quebec are also welcome to apply. Information on camps will be sent to those athletes directly.
