National Team Weekend Camp

This training camp is open to all competitive athletes registered with WAKO Canada.  The camp that will also be the main trials for the National Senior Team applying for the WORLD SENIOR World Championship (Abu Dhabi).  All athletes from Ontario/Quebec trying out for any Tatami or Ring disciplines at the Worlds are required to attend.  Athletes that attended the camp and qualified for the World Championship in Abu Dhabi are required to attend this camp, or the Grand Prairie camp if athlete is from western Canada, or Newfoundland camp if the athlete is from eastern Canada.  The qualified persons based on Nationals are the following individuals-

Senior Male – Low Kick

Senior Male – K1

Senior Female – Low Kick

Senior Female – K1

Senior and Veteran Male – Kick Light

Senior and Veteran Female – Kick Light 

There will be a full Coaching Staff working with our athletes with backgrounds in Kinesiology, Sport Psychology, Strength and Conditioning as well as experienced National Team Coaches.

All WAKO Canada members are welcome to come to the camp and work with our National Team staff and also train with the top athletes in Canada!
