Dear Coaches, Athletes and Parents,
WAKO Canada has begun our National Team Athlete Selection Process. In 2018 there are a number of international competitions – both in Canada and overseas. To have a open, fair and transparent selection process the WAKO Board has selected the following protocols to select athletes that an be part of any one of a number of National Teams.
In 2018 there are a number of incredible opportunities for our elite level athletes to gain international exposure. We have two International Events in Canada (South Africa vs Canada – April and China vs Canada – October) and then three International events overseas:
WAKO World Junior Championship – Italy
WAKO PANAM Championship – Mexico
WLF Team Championship – China
Our association will be using NT Training Camps and WAKO Canada approved competitions as the main criteria for selecting our NT athletes. Please distribute the following document below that outlines our National Team selection protocol and the Registration Form for our training camps.
