Dear WAKO Canada Members,
We are excited to announce the selection process for Team Canada for the final WAKO International Championship for 2021! This championship is incredible as it is held at the Barcelo Grand Resort in the beautiful Riviera Maya in Quintana Roo, Mexico from November 11-14 2021.
A WAKO International Championship held on a 5 star resort is an incredible way for Canadians to enjoy the sport of kickboxing in an all-inclusive resort!
WAKO Canada is selecting all athletes wishing to compete in this championship. There will be divisions for all ages and all ring and tatami disciplines.
As per WAKO IF policies and the new COVID protocols all members of the Canadian Delegation – athletes, coaches, parents and tourists will be required to follow the registration proceedures provided by WAKO Canada.
NO PRIVATE ARRANGEMENTS WILL BE PERMITTED TO THIS CHAMPIONSHIP. ONLY INDIVIDUALS REGISTRATIONED WITH THE CANADIAN DELEGATION WILL BE PERMITTED INTO THE COMPETITIONVENUE OR THE RESORT AREA WHERE CANADIAN ATHLETES WILL BE STAYING.
The following registration form is the final document to be accepted into the Championship. All athletes from Ontario and Quebec are required to attend attend the training camp on Sunday September 12th. Registration forms are available on the EVENTS page under September 12.
Canada can only send 2 athletes per weight class and per division. Please send in your registration immediately so we can determine if you have to qualify at the September 12 camp.
