WAKO Level 1 Coaching Course

WAKO Canada has hosted a number of highly successful ZOOM Coaching Courses in the past few years.  The WAKO Canada Certification Program is an amazing Seminar open to all Coaches, Instructors, Athletes, Parents and any supporters for the sport!

The Level I Course is also a requirement for all corner-persons at any of our sanctioned competitions. There are a number of club shows happening in 2024 as well as our 2024 Provincial Open, Summer Smash, and Halloween Howl Development Tournaments which all corner-persons must be certified as coaches.

The Course is a Professional Development and Certification program in which participants learn and review current research and methodology of:

Sports Injury Management

Athlete Planning

Strategies for Coaching Excellence

Sport Ethics and Legalities

As well as the Rules and Regulations for WAKO Canada and WAKO International.

All Coaches receive a Coaching Manual, a Resource Material and a WAKO Canada Certificate upon successful completion of the Course!
